I don't know if you're like me, but mornings aren't my best time of day, especially not Mondays. If I were my own boss, and worked from home, I'd surely sleep until 11:00 pm and be up til 3:00 am everyday. That's just the way I am, but unfortunately, my internal clock doesn't work well with today's standard workday, so I'm stuck struggling to get up every weekday morning and will have to remain content with sleeping in those precious weekends. :'(
Well apparently there are a good number of people in the same boat as me. I say that because recently I came across a new toy/product that kind of points to that fact. The product is called Clocky and its by a company called Nanda. What is it? Its a clock that takes off running to hide once you choose to hit the snooze button. Think about it, how many mornings have you found yourself sleeping in anyway because it was just too easy to hit that snooze 25 times?! LOL, maybe thats an exaggeration but I wonder what it'd be like to have the clock move 20 feet away on its own... and then go off again.. interesting.. I might just have to get one!
The alarm clock that runs away and hides when you don't wake up. Clocky gives you one chance to get up. But if you snooze, Clocky will jump off of your nightstand and wheel around your room looking for a place to hide. Clocky is kind of like a misbehaving pet, only he will get up at the right time.
(for those of you in the urban vinyl group, I know this isn't urban vinyl, but I'm pretty sure most will find this pretty cool.)

this one is a lot more fun!
(working for yourself does allow for your own schedule... it's been a year now and i love every minute of it, even at 3am when i'm still up)

Though, it does seem like a funny toy to let my cat chase around.
My sister needs one of these. She uses 3 different alarms, which (last time I stayed at her place) start going off in shifts about 1 hour before she actually drags her butt out of bed. Oh, yeah, I know what SHE's getting for christmas...
*evil laugh*
