Bring Bad Design to Justice!
I came accross these gems while surfing Drawn! The Illustration and Cartooning Blog.
As a Graphic Design graduate, we've all learned about the importance of typography. Usually overlooked, especially by do-it-yourself "designers" who haven't quite placed an importance or learned about proper typography. (Now I don't mind people who want to learn about design and learn, but I'm talking about the ones who just don't care to learn about typography...)
Now here's a great little set of stickers from Design Police.... If you've ever joked with colleagues about the kearning of text, rivers, widows, even about an ad's font choices... this is for you!
My fav's:
"Comic Sans is Illegal"
"Please do no use Word ArtTM"
"Helvetica was an unimaginative choice"
the huge "WIDOW" sticker
"BAD IDEA"
and my personal fav "Unnecessary use of Photoshop effect"
These are great, but it also makes me feel like my old college professors to recognize and laugh about it....
